Description

How to enjoy your pikliz

As a cardinal rule, It should be used as an additive condiment to your dish. Although it is well suited for any dish, It goes best with fried or grilled meats. If you are lucky enough to have access to Haitian foods, you should try your juicy pikliz with fried plantains (or tostones), Akra (fried malanga roots), and the best part, fried pork (or Griyo).

Good to know

  • It is best to avoid using metal utensils as they may accelerate the oxidation of the vinegar contained in the pikliz. Instead, use wooden utensils (or plastic as a last resort).
